The Trend T14 also has an "Anti-Restart Protection" thats prevents the router from unexpected start-up if the trigger lock-on switch is engaged, and the power supply is turned on or temporarily interrupted & restored.
In this event, the trigger lock-on switch must be disengaged before the router can restart.

Not only are Trend routers some of the best on the market they are now the 1st to be supplied with a router table power take off switch this is connected to the port inside the handle. Without this switch, users would need to reach under the table to operate the router.
This would be incredibly dangerous and due to the Automatic power shut off feature, which would prevent a typical NVR (No Volt Release) switch from being used. Therefore, all T14s come supplied with a router table power take-off switch, this feature is currently unique to Trend in the UK.
