50° Hardened Screw Guides
The 50° hardened screw guides refer to specially designed feature incorporated into a the Trend decking jig that facilitates the insertion of screws at an optimal angle. This particular angle ensures that the screws penetrate the deck boards at the right depth, offering enhanced strength and stability to the entire structure. These guides are made from hardened materials to withstand the forces exerted during the installation process and to prevent premature wear and tear.

The Trend Self-drilling, solid steel screws are driven into the sides of the deck boards at an angle, allowing them to be hidden from view once the boards are installed. The result is a clean and polished deck surface without any visible fixings, which significantly improves the overall appearance and creates a seamless finish.
The concealed deck fixing method has numerous advantages. First and foremost, it prolongs the life of the decking by minimizing the potential for water penetration and rot. With traditional fixing methods, such as nails or surface-mounted screws, water can seep into the holes or gaps created during installation.
Over time, this moisture can cause the wood to deteriorate, leading to warping, splitting, and overall degradation of the deck. Concealed fixings help mitigate this issue by sealing the deck boards more effectively, reducing the risk of water ingress and extending the lifespan of the decking. Built-In Board Spacers
The primary function of built-in board spacers is to establish a uniform gap between each deck board. These gaps serve multiple purposes, the most important being drainage. By maintaining a consistent spacing between the boards, water can easily flow through the gaps, preventing the accumulation of moisture on the deck surface. This promotes better airflow and allows for efficient drying, reducing the risk of mold, rot, and other moisture-related issues that can compromise the durability of the deck.

In addition to drainage, the gaps created by board spacers accommodate the natural expansion and contraction of the deck boards due to changes in temperature and humidity. Wood and composite decking materials are known to expand and contract as they react to environmental conditions. If the boards are installed without sufficient spacing, they may buckle, warp, or crack when they expand, leading to unsightly deformations and potential hazards. Warranty Terms & Conditions

All Trend Tools are carefully checked and tested to meet the stringent controls of Trend Quality Assurance. In addition to any statutory rights resulting from the purchase, all Trend products are covered by the warranty stated below.

WARRANTY PERIOD
The standard warranty period on all Trend products is 12 months (Warranty Period).
Products that are eligible for an extended Warranty Period, in accordance with Appendix A, are subject to registration here within 28 calendar days of purchase. The ‘Product Guarantee Certificate’ (supplied after successful registration) and original proof of purchase (showing purchase date) will serve as proof of the extended Warranty Period. Each tool must be registered separately.
The Warranty Period begins from the date the product is purchased. This date must be documented by the original proof of purchase.
Any claim made under this warranty does not alter the Warranty Period.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS
This Warranty is limited to repair and/or replacement of the faulty product provided that any fault in workmanship or material existed at the date of purchase. Where parts or products are no longer available, alternative products of a similar specification may be supplied. No further costs or losses can be claimed.
This warranty only applies to new product(s) purchased from an authorised Trend retailer.
This warranty is personal to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. Ownership must be documented by the original proof of purchase
All Warranty claims must be received by Trend (or a Trend Authorised Service Agent - UK only) within the Warranty Period.
Trend offer a collection service for Warranty claims made through Trend Customer Services (+44 1923 249911 / customerservices@trend-uk.com), but reserve the right to recover transportation costs for invalid claims.
Transportation costs and risks for returning products to a Trend Authorised Service Agent are not covered by this Warranty.
Where invalid Warranty claims may be repairable, Trend may offer an estimate for the cost of repair.

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
This warranty does not cover:

accidental or wilful damage;
products that have been altered or modified in any way;
products serviced or repaired by unauthorised Trend Service Agents;
products connected to improper power supply;
products with defaced, altered or removed identification labels;
damage caused by neglect, overloading or misuse;
damage resulting from improper or lack of maintenance;
damage caused by foreign substances;
damage caused by use of unauthorised and/or third-party parts and accessories;
parts and accessories which are subject to fair wear and tear;
consumable parts which are intended to be replaced during the life of the product as identified in the instruction manual;
counterfeit or stolen products;
minor deviations from the specified quality that do not affect the functionality or value of the product;
partially or completely disassembled tools.

What if my product becomes faulty?

If you have an issue with your Trend Power Tool within the first 30 days you can contact us at buyaparcel.com to resolve the problem.

After the 30 day period it is as simple as completing an online form with Trends certified repair agent.

They will happily arrange collection of the product and repair or replace it, depending on the fault found.

Please note you will need your proof of purchase from buyaparcel.com. We hold copies and can email these across at your request.

If your item is stocked in our immediate picking location it will available for you to choose a next day delivery. This will be highlighted by a green tick and a 1 day dispatch time on the item information.

What courier will my item be delivered with?

If your item is being delivered in the UK or Ireland, it will be delivered by UK Mail/DHL, Hermes or Royal Mail, with the exception of pallet items.

If you are an international customer, your goods will initially be sent via UK Mail/DHL, and then exported to either Eurodis or DHL. The appropriate tracking can be provided when necessary.

Is My Item Available for Click and Collect at your Lowestoft Store?

In stock - Available for next day delivery

If your item is showing "In Stock" then you will be able to do a Same Day Click and Collect order from our Lowestoft Pinbush Road. Our cut off for same day collections is 3.00pm Mon-Fri / 11.00am Saturday. After that the product will be ready the next day for collection. After the cut off you are welcome to do a Call and Collect order by phoning our trade counter on 01502 507666. If your item is in stock you will still be able to do a same day collection and payment.

Our store is open Monday to Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm and Saturday 8.00am - 12.00pm so any orders placed the remainder of the weekend will be available for collection on Monday. Weekdays any orders placed up to midnight will be available for collection the following day. This excludes bank holidays.
